Hellooo Easter Week!

Playing Catch Up
Whew! We had a GREAT weekend with Momma Judy, Jenny, Jacob and the zoo!! They all came on Friday evening and stayed until Sunday.  Jenny took this sweet picture of Lucy on their way down.

Notice Elvis all laid up in behind her...bless their hearts!

Saturday was a fun-filled day of shopping and golfing for the boys!! I was so happy Momma and Jenny were here with me to find some new purchases!! It's never fun to shop by yourself, so I love that they were here to go with me! We SHOPPED til we dropped....literally! I was exhausted!! oh yeah....and the boys had fun too!! We didn't go to bed until after 11. I "used" to be able to hang with the party, but not anymore...  It was so good to visit with them tho! I wish we all lived closer so those visits could happen more often!

Needless to say, Eric and I ....and Bailey have been playing catch up this week trying to get extra zzzz's in!

I am just dying to show this precious pic of - the 3 musketeers in Gatlinburg!

Baby Williams Update
Well....we are officially 16 weeks - 168 days to go! Yay!! 20 days until we find out what baby Williams will be....boy or girl... We are trying to think of names, but whew! That's a huge pickle!! This is such a big deal!! So - we just brainstorm ideas! The right name will come across us and we'll know that's the PERFECT one!! :) .... We hope so anyway!! lol

According to babycenter.com - here is what is going on with Baby Williams this week:
Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

So exciting all of this is going on - looks like Baby Williams has a busy week ahead!!

Belly shot at 15 weeks...

Easter Weekend Happenings
Hard to believe it's already Easter. Eric and I are staying in Mississippi for the weekend. We are excited of doing a little landscaping on Friday (much to Eric's dismay) and just lounging around - I found some ferns at Kroger, I'm just dying to purchase. It is supposed to be a beautiful week here - in the mid 80's, but the rain comes on Saturday, so Eric has to be sure he gets his golf fix in before the rain comes!! I'm hoping we can dye some eggs on Friday!

I can't wait! I am super tickled about the Easter Bunny's big arrival on Sunday morning!! Whew! I'm so tickled thinking about it!!

Have a great week - we'll talk to ya'll soon!
All our love!

Dreams really do come true!!

What a great week this has been?!
We went to the doctor on Monday to get our 15 week check-up. (Crazy ...already 15 weeks) I was so bummed to not get a sonogram, but was very tickled at the sound of that heart beat! Eric and I had to wait for over 2 hours for our appointment...(ugh), but while we waited we saw the office manager who gave us this sweet gift - of course, after we talked about how we were going to pay for this baby!! Ha!!

I told Eric...aww - how sweet, she gave us a tent for the baby! Eric said...."hey babe, I think it's formula" Boy...am I happy he set me straight!! Ha ha!!

She also gave us our hospital pre-registration papers.
Kind of scary we have to think about all of that now...

Well - after we received our goodies, we sat in the waiting room longer only to sit and check every big & pregnant & big...did I say big!? pregnant mommas in the waiting room...Whew! Bless their hearts! :) I know..I know - my time is coming!!

So - we finally get to see Dr. Carroll. Eric & I were just pumped - I was so excited to hear a heartbeat and know that everything was ok. After Dr. Carroll put the cold gelly stuff on my belly, we heard it...ba bum...ba bum...ba bum... a HEALTHY hearbeat!!! Dreams really do come true because I sure was getting nervous to just know that everything sounded ok!! God is good! :) The heartbeat was about 160-ish. Thank God!!

Now - we are anxiously awaiting April 19th where we will find out pink or blue...boy or girl!! Yay!! We cannot wait - then here we come nursery planning!! Eric and I really don't have a preference, we are just praying for a healthy baby to love!

BIG Weekend Ahead...
Well, we have a big weekend ahead! Mom, Jenny, Jacob and the zoo are coming to town!! By the zoo, I mean their 4 dogs - Jesse, Lucy, Elvis & Presley... Bailey is just tickled, so tickled - he's trying to get double rest tonight to prepare!

We are so excited they are all coming to visit!! It's been too long!! Eric and Jacob are going golfing on Saturday morning while we have a lil' girls day out!

Thank the good lord Jesus tomorrow is Friday! Whew! What a week?! I hope ya'll have a great weekend!

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs - or snow....

Happy Sunday Funday....
We woke up this morning - headed to church - only to come out with SNOW flurries!! Craziness!! 2nd Day of Spring and we have sleet & snow.... wowzers!! No wonder we can't stay healthy around here!! I can honestly say Eric and I enjoyed the laziness of today! It sure felt good to take a nap...or 2 today! :) It was such an extra nice day...because Eric slaved over the stove tonight to fix chili...yummy!!

Eric did enjoy a full day of golf on Saturday. He played with our sweet neighbor and his nephew - like 27 holes of golf. I told him I hope he got his "fix" for awhile! I was so happy it was a beautiful day! (By the way - he wore shorts on Saturday because it was so nice, only to wake up to SNOW on Sunday)
He posed for a quick shot for me!! Can you tell he's thrilled!?

In the meantime, while Eric was out having a boys day, I treated myself to a mani and a pedi!! Definitely a long time coming!! Because of being pregnant - I'm tickled that my nails are growing - I'm taking full advantage of having pretty nails!

See...I went a little bright so I can be in the full spring mood!

A Day in the Life of Bunge
Eric has been quite the busy man at the great world of Bunge here lately...Although it's not harvest ...  yet... he's been getting ready!  In Yazoo City, he has had a fence put up as well as tons of concrete laid. He took a few pictures so I could check it all out... so I had to share!
I think these are before pics..
Trip to the Doc
Well - after 4 weeks since our last visit (feels like forever) we head to the doctor tomorrow! Yay!! We are so excited. We go in at 9:15. We aren't scheduled for a sonogram...dang-it! But - maybe, I can twist the doctors arm into letting us have one - we are just itchin' to find out what this lil' bundle of love is going to be.... Stay tuned for the doctor update tomorrow!

-Here is the belly shot at 13 weeks-

We are now 14 weeks (crazy)
According to babycenter.com - this is what is going on with Baby Williams now...
This week's big developments: Your baby can now squint, frown, grimace, pee, and possibly suck his thumb! Thanks to brain impulses, his facial muscles are getting a workout as his tiny features form one expression after another.

Your baby's stretching out. From head to bottom, he measures 3 1/2 inches — about the size of a lemon — and he weighs 1 1/2 ounces. His body's growing faster than his head, which now sits upon a more distinct neck. By the end of this week, his arms will have grown to a length that's in proportion to the rest of his body. (His legs still have some lengthening to do.) He's starting to develop an ultra-fine, downy covering of hair, called lanugo, all over his body. Your baby's liver starts making bile this week — a sign that it's doing its job right — and his spleen starts helping in the production of red blood cells. Though you can't feel his tiny punches and kicks yet, your little pugilist's hands and feet (which now measure about 1/2 inch long) are more flexible and active.

This truly is a miracle that all of this is going on right now...in this belly!!
Well - we are back to the grind of the great work world tomorrow... boo! But - this week brings great things, trip to the doctor and my momma is coming to visit on Friday!! Yay!!

Sweet Dreams ya'll - we'll see ya tomorrow for another update!

Headaches...Skype...Fast Food....Spring Fever....College Friends

Well...Hi there,
Long time no chat!! Things are definitely moving right along in our world!! Baby Williams is moving right along, we are now at 14 weeks. I still feel great...except for a few headaches. Funny how these lil' headaches are working - they only happen on Saturdays!! IWhat's wrong with this picture!? Ha ha!! I think it is because this lil' brain of mine is just thinking WAYYYY to much during the week!! Either that, or I need to just quit cleaning - because that's what stirred the old headaches up!! :) (Deep down, I think it's all this crazy March Madness basketball...ugh) Is it football season yet again?! Ha!
I thought this picture fit the bill for the past 2 Saturdays for me!! Ha ha!! Thank GOD it has been pretty weather so Eric has been able to go golfing and spend some time away from me - I know I'm a hot lil' mess!! Thank goodness he's a good sport!

SKYPE - coolest thing since sliced bread!!

Eric and I have a complete new obsession...With Skype, we can have video chats with our family and friends!! I soooo feel like we are in 2015 because it is so high tech!! I was so hyped up last night over this skype thingie...I couldn't go to sleep!! Ha ha!! It has been the perfect way for the family who lives in Missouri to keep up with my ever growing baby bump!! Too much fun!! Eric says I'll have skype down pat if I would just quit talking so loud!! Ha ha!! Ya'll know me, the more I talk - the more excited I get, so the louder and faster I talk!! Needless to say - you're gonna hear me on this skype!! Bailey (our shih-tzu) even likes skype! He's able to keep in touch with his puddies (puppy buddies) in Missouri, Lucy, Jessie, Elvis & Presley!! Ha ha!! What is he going to do when he isn't the only child anymore?! Bless his little heart!

Fast Food....yummy!!
I have officially been taking full advantage of being "withchild"  :) Whew!! Me and Eric have been eating out - nonstop!! We are going to do better from now on!! I told him I am gonig to start cooking again too!! This chick has got to get in gear! Ha ha!! No more KFC and Arby's!! I'm going to stick to my major cravings of Smoothie King and fruit (Can't get enough here lately)

Spring Fever
Can we say....I'm SUPER jealous I don't have a Spring Break?! It's been Spring Break in the Jackson area this week and I have a serious case of SPRING FEVER!! It has been a beautiful week with temperatures in the high 60s-low 70's. Life in Mississippi is great because of the weather! The grass is green and all of the pretty plants are blooming!! I'm so glad! Like I said earlier, Eric has been tickled - he has definitely been soaking up some time at the 'ole Country Club!!

We joined a super fun country club last year - Colonial Country Club - and Eric LOVES playing out there. He gets to play at 2 golf courses, one in Madison and the other in Jackson - so he is in heaven!!

This is the Jackson course - pretty!

I haven't joined him at the club yet as the golf cart supervisor, but I have a feeling I'm going to need to tag along and get some much needed rays!! :)

I'm hoping we can fit a beach trip in pretty soon!! Like I said earlier, I realllllly have some Spring Fever!! I told Eric this morning that we needed to negotiate a deal ...He's going to Taladega - so I can FOR SURE make a beach trip - stay tuned for trip details!! Ha ha!!

Heaven... I love the Beach...Eric does too - lil' beach bum!! This picture makes me smile!!
College Friends
Amber, my college roommate and one of my best friends, called Joanna and me last night to share some AMAZING news!! She is throwing a double baby shower for us!! Joanna are are just tickled!! The even better news...Amber has arranged to invite all of our college friends to join in on the weekend of fun!! I CANNOT wait to see everyone!! I am so blessed to have such amazing friends! The BEST thing about these girls is that even though we don't talk everyday and some live in Texas, New York, Tennesse... all over - we always pick right up where we left off when we see each other!! Amber, thank you from the bottom of my heart for arranging the fun! It means the world to me...plus - I've never been to a double baby shower!! Ha ha!! :) August can't come soon enough!!

I found these old pictures of all of us - had to share them!!
Love & Miss y'all so much!

Happy Weekend
Well...since Eric and Bailey are having a snoring contest on the couch, looks like The Williams Family will hit the hay for the night!! Big day tomorrow - St. Patty's Day Parade (maybe)- Eric's playing golf - and I hope to get a few rays of sunshine in before the rain comes!!

Have a great weekend!!

Latest & Greatest...

Well - Since I have loads of information to catch up on - I thought I'd make up for lost time...

BABY BOOM
I cannot believe I forgot some AMAZING news earlier in the blog.... I have been so blessed to be pregnant - at the same time - with my BESTEST friend, Joanna, my college roommate!! Who would have ever thought?! Funny how things work out because Joanna and I were roommates and Joanna's husband, Chase, and Eric were roommates - so it looks like we are going through alot of "firsts" together!! We are so tickled to be sharing this amazing moment with such great friends.....and.....ANOTHER one of my friends is pregnant at the same time too - Sarah G - Yay!!! I think God knew what he was doing when he made this happen - because this lil' mommy and daddy are going to need a few lil' extra tips!! Ha ha!!

WEEK 10 UPDATE
See the super sweet ultrasound pictures of Precious Baby Williams... (Please vote on the right - on what you think Baby Williams will be - boy....or girl....) These pictures were taken at 10 weeks. This lil' bundle of love is just adorable and so loved and we haven't even met yet!!

WEEK 11:
I know I posted this earlier, but I thought I would put things in order since I'm kind of all over the place!! Ha ha!! So - this is Week 11 Belly shot.

Week 12:
Like I said earlier, since I'm catching up - here is a belly shot at Week 12. Still nothing much to see, but a lil' pooch is going on!! Yay!!

WEEK 13:
So hard to believe that today, we begin our 13th week... Since Eric and I are not quite full of baby knowledge, we've been reading up on what exactly is going on each week ...

This Week: (according to babycenter.com)
Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head — which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce.

We don't venture back to the doctor until March 22nd, but think we may have to wait until mid-April to find out what our lil' bundle of love will be.

Stay tuned for Week 13 Belly shot.

BABY'S FIRST GIFTS
As y'all know, I am a lil' crazy about shopping - so Baby Williams couldn't go too long without the first gift.... and thanks to Aunt Jen - she helped make that happen!!
We were so tickled to get a package on Monday - from Aunt Jen - She had it loaded down with super sweet books (which we cannot wait to read) to begin our gift collection!! Bailey gave them all a good sniff down, so I guess we can officially keep them, per Bailey's approval!! Ha ha!!
We LOVE you Aunt Jen!

I ventured to Hattiesburg on Saturday to try to find some new clothes at Forever21, needless to say, I drove all that way and came home with nothing but.... a DIVA DIAPER BAG!! I am in LOVE with it!! I was sure to call Eric and let him know that I had found us the PERFECT bag!! Ha ha!! Well....what do you think?!?

Once we find out what the baby is and of course, decide on a name, you know what I'll be doing to this sucker.....monogrammin'!!!!

Well... I think that brings everyone up to speed on The Williams Chronicles!! We have a busy week this week, but Eric informed me today - Turkey season opens up this weekend...well...yay!! I know he's tickled. I just want him to enjoy this time off because very soon he will be working non-stop at good 'ole Bunge!!

The forecast says 76 degree weather tomorrow and nasty rain - at least Spring is in the air...right?!

Much love from Mississippi!

New Job, New Year, New BABY

Hi there - Whew!! What a year?! With all of the crazy happenings going on in our life, we thought the perfect thing to do was start a blog so all of our family and friends could be with us all along the way as we take this amazing jouney to be parents!!

First... Happy New Year!
Eric and I are so excited for 2010. We have committed 2010 to being our "Year of the Friend"...haha!! We hope to spend alot of much needed time with our family and friends. Regardless of how busy our lives get, we always need to make time for our family and friends!

Second... Around the World in 90 Days!!
2010 has been an exciting ride so far... and it's only March!! As some know, I have been in the fundraising world for over 5 years, but I thought I would "venture" out into the corporate world... so I went to work for an accounting firm as their Sales & Marketing Director. Needless to say, that lasted 90 days. The travel and time away was a little more than I bargained for - spending alot of time on the road - travelling Mississippi and Louisiana was a tad much.
With that being said, I have returned to my roots of fundraising, the American Heart Association. I am now the Senior Regional Director and am loving it.... so far!! Bless Eric's heart - he has been completely supportive of me and all of my crazy decisions!!

Third.... New BABY!!
Valentine's Day weekend was an eventful weekend!! On Friday - February 12th - I had this funny feeling that something just wasn't right with me... so I decided to go purchase a home pregnancy test while Eric was at work. Boy, was I surprised at the results?! Ha ha!! It took less than 60 seconds for that thing to flash PREGNANT!! Wowzers!! SHOCKED is an understatement!! So... when Eric came home from work - I told him I think we needed to go purchase another test to just "Be sure"... Well - after 7 home pregnancy tests, we decided that it was probably right!! Notice...it took 7!!

Check these suckers out....

Needless to say - after a WILD Valentine's Day weekend of pacing the house with the possibility of having a baby, trying to refocus so we didn't stress ourselves out, I called the doctor first thing on Monday morning. The doctor couldn't see us until Wednesday - February 17th. Whew...what a wild wait that was too!! We were, needless to say, a HOT MESS!!

We ventured to the doctors office on Wednesday - headed in a nervous wreck. The entire time they are taking my bloodwork, everyone is congratulating Eric and I - and we seriously were like...for what?! We could not get it to sink in!! After a confirmation from the doctor - we finally believed we were going to have a BABY!! We are just tickled!! Shocked...but tickled!!!

Our doctor, Dr. Shannon Carrol told us we were probably 6 weeks with an expectant date of October 10th. We had a short chat in his office about all the important things of having a baby, but Eric and I couldn't absorb too much - we were just sitting there with our mouths wide open!! Our biggest question was, "When should we tell everyone!?" He suggested between 8-9 weeks, so we were prepared to head home in a couple of weeks. He then sent us on to get our first ultrasound - WOW?!! Ultrasound at 6 weeks?! How was this going to happen?! Talk about clueless?! Ha ha!! Eric and I venture downstairs to have our first ultrasound to hear our precious lil' bundle of love... only to find out we were 10 weeks pregnant and due September 14th!! Wow... alot changes in just a few minutes?! Ha ha!! Looks like we were planning a trip to Missouri to tell the family that weekend!! I'll have to scan in the ultrasound pics so everyone can see, so stay tuned for that, but check out the goods that we came home with from the doctor!!

Road Trip to Missouri
After finding out on Wednesday - February 17th that we were going to have a baby, we quickly decided to plan a trip to Missouri - headed home the 19th!! We were a WRECK!! I had to find the most perfect ways to tell our families!

The cutesy things below were for my parents. Since this is going to be their 1st Grandchild - I wanted to be sure it was something they would NEVER forget!!

This had my voice recorded in the picture frame saying, "Surprise - you're going to be grandparents!" Mom kept pushing the top button thinking it was a joke... now do I play that many jokes on people!? Lol..

This was the precious announcement for Eric's parents!! I think they were super totally shocked!!

You can't forget the Aunt's!! This was the lil' monogrammed "happy" we gave to Jenny and Lauren!! I think they were pleasantly surprised too!

Needless to say, we had an amazing weekend at home!! Now, back to the real world. Eric and I thought we should do a little reading up on this parenting, pregnancy thing - so off to Barnes & Noble I went - I think I purchased every book they had!! Eric got a kick out of this!!

We are now officially in Week 12 of our pregnancy, so here is a belly shot of Week 11 - stay tuned for other belly shots!

Nothing much to see - yet!! Thank God that I have been feeling amazing - just a little tired, but that is ok since I have not other sickly feelings!! yay!!

I have to say this - I thank God EVERY day for such an amazing husband!! Eric has been truly special to me throughout these past few weeks!! I am so happy I am going through this journey with him - He will make a wonderful daddy!!

I think that's all for today - I think I've caught you up on The Williams Family for today!! Now...back to the Oscars!
